It’s winter time and why not get out and about to explore all the sports and culture that Melbourne has to offer? Grattan House has a sports and culture themed respite getaway experience coming up this July and August for NDIS Participants to enjoy a 3 nights stay in the city.
Join us for the FIFA Womens Fan Festival at Federation Square and enjoy some snacks while watching some great soccer for the evening. We will also head to National Gallery of Victoria, and for those coming to Grattan House on 12 or 13 August, you will get the chance to go to the Indian Festival.
We are also excited to throw a fun board games night! Are you really good at Jenga? We want to see who comes out on top. There will also be an opportunity to keep interactive indoors by making your own TikTok video of your adventures. The person who makes the video with the most views will get a prize.
We will then head out to Carlton Gardens to play some soccer in the fresh air and end the day going to a stand-up comedy show.
Our Respite Participants will also get the chance to have free time during their stay, there are communal board games, arts and crafts, Nintendo Wii and Netflix available.
Get Started with The Disability Company today to book a respite getaway at Grattan House this July or August.
