The Disability Company has been an NDIS Registered Provider since our inception in 2018. We are fully compliant with current and upcoming regulations, including all changes for 2024 and 2025. Our services will continue without disruption, ensuring seamless care and support for all our participants.

At The Disability Company, we prioritise quality, transparency, and participant-centered care. We offer: 

  • Reliable, skilled support workers, matched to individual participant needs and we ensure they are supported through continuous training and professional development to broaden their capabilities and provide the highest standard of care to clients. 
  • Services across SIL, Respite, In-Home Care, Community Access and Transport Shifts. 
  • Fast response times and open communication to keep Support Coordinators informed. This includes monthly Support Coordinator updates with information relating to the client goals. 
  • A streamlined and thorough onboarding process that promotes participant choice and control. 
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) – Long-term housing support with 24/7 assistance. 
  • Respite Care (Short-Term Accommodation & Assistance – STAA) – Short-term stays providing temporary support. 
  • In-Home Care – Personalised assistance with daily living tasks. 
  • Community Access Support – Help with social, recreational, and community engagement. 
  • COMING SOON: Group Services – A new addition focused on community connection and social skill development. 

Each service type has a different onboarding timeframe: 

  • In-Home Care – Typically around 2 weeks from initial enquiry to commencement. If the situation is more urgent, please let us know when you contact us—we will always do our best to assist where possible. 
  • Respite Care – Timeframes vary depending on whether the participant is an existing client or new to the service. The more notice we receive, the better we can plan and staff accordingly. 
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) – Timeframes depend on funding, vacancies, and the complexity of support needs. Please reach out to discuss your participant’s situation and we’ll provide a tailored estimate. 

 

We always aim to respond quickly and work closely with you to get supports in place as efficiently as possible. 

Absolutely! We provide monthly reports for any participant you’ve referred to us. These reports are built upon: 

  • Completed shift notes 
  • Progress summaries 
  • Behavioural and goal tracking 
  • Incident reporting, where relevant 

 

While monthly reports provide a comprehensive overview, we will never wait until the end of the month to inform you of any incidents or urgent matters. You’ll be notified promptly so we can work together to ensure the best outcomes for your participant.
