NDIS Provider Access Changes – 5 Steps to Switch from PRODA to myID & RAM (August 2025)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has introduced important provider access changes this August. Providers and employees will now transition from PRODA to myID and RAM (Relationship Authorisation Manager) to access the NDIS provider portals.

This upgrade is designed to improve security, protect participant data, and ensure only authorised individuals can log in. If you currently use PRODA, you’ll need to make the switch now to maintain access.

Your 5-Step Action Plan for the PRODA Replacement

  1. Check your identity requirements

    • Employees: Standard identity strength.

    • Principal authorities: Strong identity strength (requires Australian passport valid or expired within the last 3 years).

  2. Create your personal myID

    • Use a personal email address — not your work email.

  3. Link your organisation in RAM (principal authorities only)

    • Connect myID to your business ABN.

  4. Authorise your staff (principal authorities only)

    • Allow employees and representatives to act on behalf of your business in the portal.

  5. Accept your authorisation (everyone)

    • Follow the link in your email to confirm your access in RAM.

The move from PRODA to myID and RAM is part of the NDIS’s commitment to stronger, safer systems. These NDIS provider access changes will protect participant information and reduce the risk of unauthorised access — but you must complete the setup to avoid losing portal access.
